Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'view cart' then 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling Unfortunately, we are only able to ship within the UK and Northen Ireland.
Delivery Schedule We will make every effort to deliver within 5-7 working days of receiving your order. If there is a delay in shipping your order; we will contact you by e-mail with further information.

Back Orders Should your ordered goods become unavailable a full refund will be made to you via your original payment method, we will also contact you by e-mail should this happen.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security All credit card orders are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site. All Credit card payments are securely handled directly by Secure Hosting and Barclaycard Business EPDQ System.
Guarantee Wahl products are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve months from the date of original purchase or receipt as a gift. Blades are not covered under this guarantee.
The guarantee becomes invalid in the case of misuse, modification or repair by unauthorised persons. Should this product become defective during the warranty period, return it to the store of purchase for repair or replacement without any charge to you. This guarantee in no way affects your rights under statutory law in the United Kingdom.

Returns Policy We know that you will be pleased with your purchases from The Wahl Shop, However, there may be occasions when you will need to return items to us.
Items Damaged in Transit
If any items were damaged in transit, we ask that you report it to us within 7 working days by e-mail at wahlshop@wahl.co.uk or call us on 01227 744330. If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, and delivered by carrier it's best to sign the carrier's delivery note accordingly. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once received back into our warehouse, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method.

Items Faulty on Arrival
If your items are faulty on arrival, you have 28 calendar days in which to inform us of the fault either by e-mail at wahlshop@wahl.co.uk or call us on 01227 744330. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once we have verified the fault, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method. If a returned item is found not to be faulty by our technicians we will return the item to you, in this instance you will be liable for the return carriage.

Items Faulty in Warranty Period
If any of your purchases develop a fault, and it's more than 28 calendar days since receipt, then provided your item is within its warranty period, you are entitled to a warranty repair or replacement. Wear and tear on the cutting surface of the blades is not covered under the warranty.


If you change your mind
If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 10 days of receipt. The item must not be used and must be 'as new' when returned to us. Once you've informed us that you wish to return goods under the DSR, you have 28 calendar days to do so, at your own expense. Once the item is received at The Wahl Shop, we'll issue a full refund for the product to your original payment method. Please note: An administration charge of £4.00 will be deducted from your order to cover delivery costs incured by us on all goods valued at over £20.00.
All returns must be securely packed in original packaging and complete.
